Hosting and security
Do-Q is hosted on a server operated through Contabo in Europe. When you visit the site, technically necessary connection data, including IP address, date and time, requested page, and browser information, may be processed to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.
Early-access signup
When you sign up, we process your email address, signup and confirmation timestamps, subscription status, and cryptographic verification and unsubscribe tokens. We use this data to run a double opt-in signup, send occasional updates about Do-Q availability and early access, and honour unsubscribe requests. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Confirmation emails are sent through Zoho Mail. Zoho processes the email address and delivery data needed to send the message on our behalf.
Retention
Unconfirmed signup records are deleted after 48 hours. Verified subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe. After an unsubscribe, the related subscriber record is deleted after six years.
Age requirement
Early-access signup is available only to people who are at least 18 years old. We do not intentionally collect newsletter data from minors.
Cookies and analytics
Do-Q does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or other non-essential tracking technologies at this time.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in your country of residence, workplace, or the place of the alleged infringement.
